Most of Missing Tourists Found
| Still No Heads
ARKHAM -- Late Sunday night, authorities discovered the bodies of the nine
missing Canadian tourists that disappeared earlier this month. None of the
bodies had their heads, and the search for those continues.
The decapitated remains were found in an abandoned hotel off of Route 9 on the way to
Dunwich. One anonymous source claims that the bodies were arranged in the
shape of a massive tilde, generating speculation that the killer (or killers)
are of hispanic descent. |

Police Suspect Drifters More than a week ago,
the tourists from Montreal were discovered to be missing from the Arkham Bed and Breakfast where they
were scheduled to stay through the end of the month. At the time, the authorities speculated that the
tourists were either exploring the beautiful countryside, or had merely had their fill of the Inn,
and its |
eccentric owner. Zelda Hershwitz, proprieter of the Arkham Bed and
Breakfast has filed charged against the Office of the Constabulary for their remarks. They are
currently investigating those charges as well. In the meantime, the search for the Tourists' remains
continues. "Those heads have got to be around here, somewhere", said Captain Stanley, of the Tourists, page 2 |
DUNWICH -- Selectman Peter Lori is intent on stopping the owners of Squich,
Inc., from profiting on the sale of land swapped by the town a year ago on
the premise that the company would increase jobs at its leather
manufacturing plant on Queen Anne Road. Instead, citing the inability to attract qualified
employees, Squich closed the Dunwich plant

and moved to a huge mill building in Federal Hill in April.
Last week, Lori, fellow Selectmen Hubert Hughes and Town Administrator Wayne
Harville met with Squich owner Marlowe Straker in Federal Hill and asked him
to trade the land back to the town. The Selectmen have yet to return, so
news of their success is still forthcoming. Squich, page 3 |
