Bodies Reappearing - Everywhere!
ARKHAM, MA -- More bizarre happenings associated with last week's missing bodies afflicted Arkham last night, as literally dozens of bodies and parts of bodies were found all across town. A majority of the grisly discoveries were in the vicinity of Benevolent Street, and on the Miskatonic campus. However, bodies and various parts were also found at several locations throughout Arkham.
A representative of the County Coroner's Office, speaking
under anonymity, stated that the bodies appear to have come from several locations, including area funeral homes, Christchurch cemetery, the county morgue, and the human anatomy laboratory at Miskatonic University's teaching hospital. In every instance, the bodies or body parts were discovered after what area residents described as "a frightful racket, like a major street fight or a college fraternity initiation event." Police Chief Arthur Stanley said that he and his detectives were somewhat amazed at the extent of the situation, and baffled as to why anyone would want to scatter so many cadavers around town. They are officially still investigating, and so had no further comment. But one source did venture to say, "If this was some kind of a fraternity stunt, it's by far the strangest and most downright repulsive one I've ever had the displeasure of seeing!"
Body Parts
When asked if there were any solid leads as to who was behind the dreadfully disrespectful doings, Chief Stanley responded, "I can't say I'm surprised at the location of most of these carcasses. Dr. Bustoffson's SPONGE house is pretty much smack-dab in the middle."
