Woman Assaulted By Man With Upside Down Face

(AP) SUNRISE, FL - Area resident, Janet Candy told authorities that the man who assaulted her and made off with her Dodge Durango had a mouth where his eyes should be, and vice versa.

The attack took place late Monday afternoon, when Candy was leaving Walgreen's. Before she could finish loading her sundries into the back, the mystery man shoved her aside, knocking her to the ground. He then proceeded into the driver's seat, and drove away.

Police did not immediately disclaim Ms. Candy's claims, but a source in Robbery/Homicide explained that "it is unlikely the man's face was upside down." Most likely, the perpetrator was wearing some kind of mask, or Ms. Candy was so disoriented by the fall that she didn't realize she was looking at the man upside down.

At this time, the police have no suspects, and the forest-green Durango is still missing.
