From the very first official encounter with The Broon, there was evidence to suggest he wasn't human. No one is that quirky. The results speak volumes. When Barney opened a case file to investigate the entity further, we learned it had the ability to reproduce asexually, and in fact, the new offspring were able to "imitate" any one that The Broon had encountered. Very pesky.
05-28-88 : First recorded sighting of the Broon. Two audiences seemed to have a good time watching the Broon perform, but were later found passed out in the parking lot for unknown reasons.
09-01-91 : Report of Broon appearing at two Renaissance Faires during the same weekend. Can not confirm if it was the same guy, same act, or what.
06-04-93 : Market Stage in Maryland collapses. The Broon is presumed dead, but appears later the same day, unharmed. Again, audience members are found in the parking lot. A man named Jim exclaims in front of lethargic crowd that the Broon was impaled on a chunk of wood, but wasn't injured. Jim is sought by police, who are unable to locate him.
09-30-00 : Dr. Bustoffson observes Broon show from safe distance. Crowd chants "we love the Broon show" without having seen much. Barney was unimpressed with the show overall, but the audience applauded every 90 seconds. Later they milled around the Faire in a daze and some were seen paying exorbitant prices for chicken wings.
10-02-00 : Historian Brewer furnished us with a photo of the Broon, which we ran through the Doppler Wave Scanner (see below).
10-16-00 : Dr. Bustoffson, Matrin, and Frank West confront the Broon at the Faire and are attacked. Later, evil doppelgangers of Frank and Matrin accost the group. The Doppelgangers are killed, but the Broon escapes.
05-01-01 : Historian Cline learns that the Broon is scheduled to perform at two Renaissance Faires at the same time. She visits the Dunwich Faire with Historian Shadow. Later they attempt to confront the Broon, and Cline is attacked. She is presumed dead.
Postulations: There is more than one Broon. The Broon can reproduce asexually. The Broon can copy any individual it has made contact with.
