For whatever reason, when the Migo get involved in human affairs, someone loses their brain. It is our understanding that these brains are taken in Brain Cases (See Artifacts) to Yuggoth (See Locales).
06-19-93 : SPONGE is hired by a Migo masquerading as Dr. Biedermeier.
06-20-93 : SPONGE is attacked by cultists and a Migo during an ambush. Upos returning to Arkham, they find no signs of Biedermeier, but do find an odd latex-like mask of his face. Also found is a Brain Case with Dr. Bustoffson's name on it.
08-12-93 : Analysis of the Brain Case indicates that it may allow a human brain to see and talk through tiny connectors.
02-09-94 : Greta Biedermeier is contacted psychically by her father (only message is "connect the eye").
04-01-94 : Greta and Barney visit Karma Johnson to get a reading. Karma has no sense that Dr. Biedermeier is on the planet, but she doesn't think he is dead. Could be an elaborate April Fool's joke.
Postulations: The Brain Case (or a variation on it) may be capable of projecting thoughts. There may also be some other force at work. If Dr. Biedermeier's brain is still alive, it is probably not on Earth.
