The SPONGE Historian Network exists as an aid to investigations, and to
keep the Pro-SPONGE Community informed about the latest news and
information pertaining to SPONGE, the occult, or both.
When you join the Network, you are added to the database. SPONGE may need
your help with an investigation. There will be no risk to you whatsoever
at this phase (you will have to sign the waiver before you advance to phase
two).
As a member of the Network, you will be given access to some of the secure areas of
the site (in addition to being told where these secure areas of the site
exist). This will also require a scan of your retina to be kept on file.

Network status also affords you the opportunity to customize the layout of
the SPONGE site. The default layout is designed to be too bold and busy
for non-human comprehension. The color scheme has been carefully tested,
and currently is unviewable by dogs, cows, Deep Ones, and most extra-dimensional
entities. Internet applications designed attempting to read the SPONGE site will
actually convey the Massachusetts Farm Report (in most cases).
